About me

I am a PhD student at the Chair of Distributed Systems and Operating Systems at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), under the supervision of Prof. Pramod Bhatotia. My research is centered on advancing software for Quantum Computing, with a particular focus on quantum resource management and quantum compilers.

My work spans across both Superconducting and Neutral Atoms technologies, and I am continuously exploring emerging quantum technologies to evaluate their potential applications, advantages, and limitations. Prior to my PhD, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, where I developed a strong foundation in computing and engineering principles that continue to drive my passion for cutting-edge research in quantum computing.

Hobbies and Interests

In my free time, I enjoy working with bikes, whether it’s fixing up old models or customizing them to suit my style. I also have a deep appreciation for coffee, particularly specialty coffee. Experimenting with different brewing methods has become a fun hobbie. I often go to bed thinking about the next morning’s cup. Analog photography is another hobby I’m diving into, and I’ve recently started developing my own film, which has been a rewarding creative process.
Staying active is important to me as well, I regularly hit the gym, swim, and go for runs.
